Go Deeper
Now look at the navigation menu. Immediately following the home page is the “Go Deeper Page.” This page is a treasure trove designed for those yearning to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful connection with their faith. It features an exclusive collection of three series of discipleship articles, crafted to support and guide you through various stages of spiritual growth.
Complementing these series are Challenging Questions where we invite you to explore the depths of your faith and grow closer to Jesus Christ. Just as a spiritual mentor guides their disciple through thought-provoking inquiries, we aim to stimulate your spiritual growth with incisive questions that encourage reflection, introspection, and action.
Following this are seven topical series of articles that shine a light on pivotal aspects of the Christian faith, providing insights and reflections that are both thought-provoking and soul-stirring.
Beginning in 2025, three monthly series will be introduced in our Lessons in Faith section of the Go Deeper page. The first series of the month features “Lessons From the Sermon on the Mount.” The second series will feature “Lessons from Pilgrim’s Progress.” Written by John Bunyan in 1678, “Pilgrim’s Progress” is a timeless Christian allegory that has been guiding readers on their spiritual journeys for centuries. Last but not least, the third series will feature articles that focus on gaining “Wisdom from Proverbs.” Each month, we will highlight essential proverbs, offering insights into themes such as wisdom, understanding, discipline, and integrity.
The last series in Lessons in Faith is what we call Lessons Learned from Lives Well Lived. Here is where we have begun sharing the inspiring stories of Christians who have navigated the highs and lows of life with grace and resilience. These individuals have not only faced life’s challenges but have also thrived by embodying the core principles of their faith. Through their experiences, we gain valuable insights into the virtues and lessons that have sustained them. We invite fellow Christians to submit their own life story for possible publication. You may also nominate someone you know personally whose story of faith has inspired you.
Dive into an introduction to our FAQs series for insightful biblical answers tailored to Christians at any stage of their spiritual journey, seekers, and individuals from non-Christian backgrounds, addressing commonly-asked questions with clarity and depth.
Our section on “Creating Personal Time to Spend with God” highlights the vital practice of dedicating regular, intentional time for Bible reading and prayer, fostering a deeper relationship and communion with God.
And explore the essence of spirituality through our comprehensive Overview of the Bible, consisting of an overview of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Each 13-part series meticulously crafted to illuminate the foundational texts of Christianity.
The “Suggested Reading List” section provides carefully selected books tailored to Seekers and Christians at every stage of spiritual maturity, offering guidance, inspiration, and deeper understanding for their faith journey.
Additionally, you’ll find a Scripture reference guide and a compilation of noteworthy quotations from renowned Christian leaders, pastors, and authors, all carefully selected to inspire and challenge you. These diverse resources are tailored to equip you with the knowledge and wisdom needed to mature into a seasoned Christian, capable of offering spiritual guidance to fellow travelers on this shared journey of faith.
Share Your Faith
The next menu item is the “Share Your Faith” page. This section encourages believers to spread the light of the gospel to others. It provides inspiration and practical guidance to become effective messengers of Christ’s hope and salvation. There are three topics within this section. The first section is “Why Share the Gospel.” Here you will uncover the motivations and divine callings that compel us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. The next section is “What is the Message to Share.” This section focuses on articulating the core tenets of our faith that form the foundation of the gospel. And the last section is “How Should We Share.” Here you will have access to practical strategies, tips, and insights for sharing your faith in a way that is respectful, authentic, and impactful.
FAQs Directory
Next is our “FAQs Directory.” This page on our website serves as a comprehensive navigation tool, designed to direct you to the diverse and unique inquiries that arise on the journey of faith. Recognizing that individuals at various stages of their spiritual journey—from new believers to mature Christians, and from atheists to seekers—each possess their own set of questions, this directory is structured to help you easily find the answers relevant to your group or to explore questions from other perspectives you may encounter, thereby preparing you to engage in meaningful dialogue about the Christian faith.
FAQ Grouping Tabs for Seekers & Christians
The next four “FAQs” tabs describe groups of people who are in various stages that individuals go through as they proceed from learning about Christianity (Seekers) to becoming a Christian and growing into maturity in the faith. There is also a special tab for Christian parents who want to be prepared for the questions their children are likely to ask them as they grow up. Within each tab are questions, linked to articles giving thoughtful responses, that we believe are most commonly asked by those groups of individuals.
FAQs for Non-Christians
Check out the “Non-Christians” tab section. Here you will find groups of religious and non-religious non-Christians, along with articles concerning the questions they are mostly likely to ask. While several of these groups claim to be Christian, they are placed in this category because their group’s beliefs are contrary to core biblical doctrine. (It is acknowledged that some adherents to these groups may in fact be saved, having rejected some or all of their group’s teaching.) Use the Table of Contents at the top of the page to locate the group you want to explore. Each group has a description of that particular group and quotes from individuals of that group who have left to become Bible-believing Christians.
Bible Answers
Review the “Bible Answers” section to learn about core biblical doctrines of the Christian faith, common misconceptions about biblical truth, and historic heresies the early church has resolved.
Additionally, Bible Answers features a special series called “How to be Reconciled to a Holy God.” This new one-year series takes you through 52 selected chapters of the Bible to reveal the overarching story of the Bible. By understanding how the individual parts of the Bible connect into one cohesive narrative, you will better grasp how God’s redemptive plan unfolds across time.

– For Christian Parents
Whether you’re addressing the thoughtful ponderings of a grade schooler or the more complex inquiries of a teenager, our goal is to equip you with clear, compassionate, and age-appropriate responses that will foster their spiritual growth and clarity.
Remember that the goal of a spiritual conversation with a loved one is not necessarily to agree on every point, but rather to understand each other better and to share a meaningful connection. Approach these discussions with an attitude of love and the intention to strengthen your relationship, regardless of the outcome of the conversation.
– With Skeptics and the Curious
When engaging with someone who is skeptical or curious about Christianity, it’s important to approach the conversation with empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to understand their perspective. Here are some strategies to foster a constructive and respectful dialogue:
- Build a Relationship: Establish trust and rapport before diving into deeper spiritual conversations. Show genuine interest in them as a person, not just as someone to persuade.
- Ask Questions: Find out what they think and why. Asking questions can help you understand their skepticism or curiosity and can also encourage them to explore their own beliefs more deeply.
- Listen Actively: Give them your full attention, and listen without interrupting. This demonstrates respect for their opinions and shows that you value the conversation.
- Be Honest and Transparent: Share your own experiences and beliefs honestly, including your doubts and struggles. Authenticity can create a safe space for open dialogue.
- Use Gentle Persuasion: Instead of arguing, gently present the reasons for your faith. Use logic and personal experiences rather than pressure or emotional manipulation.
- Avoid Jargon: Use clear and simple language. Christian terminology can be confusing or off-putting to those who are not familiar with the faith.
- Be Informed: Know the basics of Christian beliefs and be prepared to discuss common questions and misconceptions about Christianity.
- Be Patient and Non-confrontational: Recognize that faith is a journey and that it’s okay for people to take their time. Avoid getting defensive or confrontational if their views differ from yours.
- Focus on Love and Grace: Emphasize the core Christian principles of love, grace, and forgiveness, which can be appealing and relatable to many people.
- Invite Them to Explore: Encourage them to read the Bible, attend a church service, or join a discussion group. Offer resources that they can explore on their own.
- Respect Their Autonomy: Understand that belief is a personal choice. Respect their right to make up their own mind, even if they ultimately decide against Christianity.
- Know When to Step Back: If the conversation becomes tense or if they’re not interested in continuing, be willing to step back. You can always offer to talk more at another time if they wish.
- Pray for Them: Pray for your skeptical or curious friend. Pray not just for their conversion, but for their well-being and for the wisdom to engage with them in a loving and effective way.
Remember, the goal of these conversations should be to share your faith in a way that is inviting and respectful, not to win an argument. By showing compassion, understanding, and respect, you create an environment where an honest exploration of faith can occur.
